The most upsetting part of this movie is the story the should have told but put through a meat grinder and then out half of it in the disney vault never to be swen again. Animations is flat, characters are flatter, music is generic and every song sounds the same. Good job Disney 100 on the rancid cheery on top of your legacy.

Something just feels constantly off throughout this movie. The music numbers are forgettable and out of place; the animation is colorful but you focus on that rather than caring about the characters. The self referential moments are lazy and shallow, and the moral doesn't quite track for me... You have to try or you'll never have a chance at anything?

Maybe with another year of development this could have been alright.
