Spider-Man: No Way Home
"Live-action Spider-verse"
Excitement-ridden nostalgia abound! This was a solid conclusion to the most recent Spider Man trilogy, providing the best of (or at least... samples of) each of the prior franchises. Tom Holland's Spider Man finally gets his tragic with-great-power lesson, and though you could see it coming, it still hit hard.
Doctor Strange certainly could have handled this whole thing better, but I still found it very entertaining.
"Too many spiders."
Not a bad movie, but not up to the bar I expect from Marvel. The plot motivation was a bit weak, with the classic problems of stronger heros arbitrarily failing to act just so a weaker hero can do something. That being said, the movie represented the culmination of decades long negotiations between Marvel and Sony, which adds value to the movie outside of the isolated viewing experience.
