Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
"It's like flying a bicycle!"
Almost a refreshing take on a Marvel movie, if you squint past the slew of tropes. Visually pleasing. The introduction of Cassy as a new junior supe felt more organic than other Marvel storylines. Very excited to see Marvel try to cobble together a coherent multi-movie/show storyline instead of just churning out another seemingly stand-alone like Thor Love and Thunder.
"I feel like I'm hugging Godzilla"
A refreshing Marvel movie. At parts the plot was convoluted. However, it felt less like it was following the Marvel stencil and more like some Star Wars story structure. Some independent female characters. The villian had some layers. It lacked much individual character development, but at least relationships measurably developed. One notable issue it had was spoonfeeding obvious explanations while neglecting complex ones.
"I voted for Kodos"
I feel like this movie just didn't make much sense. It maybe lined up with Loki, but didn't actually tie into it. Maybe I'll like it better on a re-watch, we'll see.
